Large 1906 Silver magasin "Babies Bootie" Table Pin Cushion by Levi & Salaman

This is a very smart and well made miniature Babies Leather "Kid Leather" Bootie made from Sterling Silver by Levi & Salaman as a novelty item in 1906, the pin cushion itself and the ribbon have been restored and replaced from the original and its in ready to use condition, not a model I have seen before and interesting shape etc, great maker who made many of the best novelty pin cushions at this period from what I can tell

Never seen one before so I assume I am leaving the next buyer a profit


The condition is generally very good with only expected signs of age and wear, with minor dents and knock which can be seen in the images, the assay hallmarks are good and very clear as well as the registration marks on the other side, in addition the bottom has very minorsurfacescratching & knocks as well which is exactly what you would expect from an object over 110 years old, though overall after a gentle clean and polish up it will look amazing
